Welcome to my online appointment system! I advise the following group of students:

·       Declared Public Relations majors that are sophomores, juniors, and seniors

To schedule an advising appointment, select a day and time below and enter the requested information. NOTE: Appointments made on MONDAYS and FRIDAYS will automatically be virtual.

NOTE: Through Friday, September 1, I will only be meeting with students that are graduating in Fall 2023 or who need to make immediate changes to their Fall 2023 schedules. If you would like to discuss course planning for Spring 2024, I kindly ask that you wait until September to schedule an appointment. This will allow time to address urgent student needs.

Virtual Advising Appointment Protocols:

Virtual advising appointments will take place via Zoom. Prior to your scheduled appointment, your advisor will send you an email with a link to their Zoom virtual meeting space, as well as notes for your appointment. For all virtual appointments, students must follow the protocols for appropriate Zoom etiquette as posted on our website.

In-Person Advising Appointment Protocols:

In-person advising appointments will be held in my office, Fell Hall 411. For all in-person appointments, the following protocols will be in place:

o   Illness & Symptoms: If you are sick or displaying any symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc.), you should not come to your advisor’s office. If you arrive to your appointment and are displaying symptoms, your advisor reserves the right to cancel.

o   Mobile Check-in: When you arrive for your appointment, please check-in using the link provided in your confirmation email or by scanning the QR code outside the Communication main office on the 4th floor of Fell Hall. After checking-in, please have a seat in the hallway outside the Communication main office and your advisor will come greet you for your appointment.

Please Note: I only advise Public Relations students. If you do not fall into that category, your appointment may be cancelled, and you will be asked to reschedule your appointment with the appropriate advisor.

Freshman students: All freshman students (through completion of 24 hours) are advised through University College. Please call 309-438-7604 to set up an appointment with your University College advisor.
