Welcome to my online appointment system! I advise Communication Studies & Mass Media minors. In addition, I am also happy to meet with any prospective students for the School of Communication.
*** Please note: any appointment scheduled on a Tuesday will automatically be virtual!
To schedule an appointment, select a day and time below and enter the requested information. Students have the option to schedule appointments in an in-person or virtual format and you will be asked to select a meeting preference when you schedule (either “in-person appointment” or “virtual appointment”). If you need to change your meeting preference after scheduling, please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In-Person Advising Appointment Protocols:
In-person advising appointments will be held in my office, Fell Hall 438B. For all in-person appointments, the following protocols will be in place:
- Illness & Symptoms: If you are sick or displaying any symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc.), please do not come to my office. It is imperative that you contain your germs and do not share them.
In the case of illness, I will still be happy to meet with you virtually. Simply email me and I will send you a Zoom link to connect on the same day/time as your scheduled appointment. You may also reschedule for an in-person appointment if you prefer.
- If you arrive to your appointment and are displaying symptoms, I reserve the right to cancel.
Virtual Advising Appointment Protocols:
Virtual advising appointments will take place via Zoom. Prior to your scheduled appointment, I will send you an email with a link to your Zoom virtual meeting space, as well as notes for your appointment. For all virtual appointments, please follow the protocols for appropriate Zoom etiquette as posted on our website.
Please visit the Communication Undergraduate Advising website for more information regarding appointment types and protocols for each: https://communication.illinoisstate.edu/contacts/advising/undergraduate-advising/.
Freshman students: All freshman students are advised through University College. Please call 309-438-7604 to set up an appointment with your University College advisor.
