Biological Sciences Pre-Professional & Biological Sciences Teacher Education Academic AdvisorĀ
*If you are a pre-health or pre-professional biology major, do not schedule a meeting with Jack. Any appointment that is scheduled with Jack by a pre-health student will be cancelled.
As a pre-professional advisor, I am both an academic and pre-health advisor. Please be specific on your reason for making an appointment. For example, if wishing to change your major, please indicate what major(s) you are thinking of switching to. The more detail you provide, the better I can prepare for the meeting to help. I can also help discuss admittance exams, help you understand requirements for admissions into your desired field, etc.
Appointment times are only put out about 1-2 weeks in advance. If no appointment times are showing up, that means the times for that upcoming week or 2 weeks are booked.
I do not hold any drop-in hours; all appointments must be scheduled. If you have just a quick question to be addressed, please feel free to send me an email. IF you are 15 minutes late to the appointment, you will be considered a no-show and will be required to reschedule.
All appointments will be held in person in my office, Julian Hall 210B. When you arrive, feel free to enter from the hallway and not the front of the Biology Main Office. You can walk straight into my office from the hallway for your meeting! For the week of March 9-13 (spring break), email me if you are wishing to meet through Zoom instead. If I do not receive an email from you requesting Zoom, the meeting will be scheduled to take place in person.
For students registering for courses on April 6th and April 13th, please not do schedule appointments prior to March 30th.
