About Me:
Hi, my name is John. I am passionate about helping graduate students reach their writing goals. I believe that writing is both a difficult practice and a skill that can be learned. I approach writing support through a lens of student empowerment: my practice treats self-compassion and resilience as powerful tools in academic writing. My goal is to help you find the resources you need to bring your insights to the world.
I can offer help with:
-Navigating the academic writing process, from understanding assignments to processing instructor feedback
-Thesis and dissertation writing, from development to drafting to revisions
-Writing challenges: Writing anxiety, procrastination, obstacles and blocks, burnout, etc.
-Source integration and citation: How to effectively include sources, citation systems (MLA, APA, etc.)
